UFC HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Bas Rutten def. Kevin 'Monster' Randleman (Split Decision) to win vacant title
**NOTES**
** The Heavyweight title was vacant because Randy Couture {{who defeated Maurice Smith at Ultimate Brazil}} left the ufc due to other interests including a greco-roman wrestling competiton**
**Soon after the event Bas Rutten announced he would drop a weight class and was stripped of the title without ever defending it.**
**After the match Kevin Randleman un-sportingly walked around the octagon complaining about the decision and that he should have won the match**
